Okay I’m hooked. I admit it. One more addiction to feed to keep me from the writing I should be doing, buy it’s totally worth it. I like to think of myself as moderately clueful when it comes to various race and LGBT issues, but wow…I really learned a lot from this first episode about race within the LGBT community and what’s being done to work on the post Prop 8 events. Watch this soon as you are able, you won’t be disappointed.

This is not the least of the evil this woman casts upon the land and the people she is sworn to protect, but in this case a video commercial has been created to healp spread the word. Be warned that the video behind the link is hard to watch, in fact it brought me to angry tears. Do not let our wolven and other carnivore breathen fall to this monster. Let the slaughter end with our cry of outrage. Spread the word, donate if you can, whatever will stop these killings.

Update: Thanks to
ladyjax (see below) I learned some disturbing things that made me consider removing this picture rather than support what might be a less than honoring parody. It's hard to say the motivation of this in light of RuPaul's past view on what was acceptable entertainment and humor. For now the pic will stay as long as it proves to be playful rather than malicious, though I admit my past respect for RuPaul’s work and his activist writings has been dimmed at his careless words and hard to understand support of what I would call a racist performance. *sigh* One more gem of the past shown to be cracked in the light of knowledge. phoenix_witch I have to admit much like Wanda, Nov 4th was a day of great joy and disappointment. When Obama was chosen as our 44th president my heart exploded with delight, and when it was obvious that prop 8 was going to pass, it felt as if my heart had been stomped on. This is not the time to pass the blame, nor to give up.

This touched me beyond words and I needed to share this with all of you. Change is coming, it is not easy, but it is needed so badly.
Oh, yes, Ms Palin will be tolerant of gays...how mighty white of you, Sarah. I hate that word tolerant. It feels like a pat on the head. What crap! They will not prohibit hospital visits and contracts?....ummmm isn't marriage a contract? Even now a person from a gay and lesbian couple can be banned from hospital room of a sick or dying partner by family...even banned from funerals....they can have children of thier partner that they've raised together taken ...so get a clue, McCain and Palin...You won't prohibit? It's already being done....the point is things need to change so ALL Americans are served by our goverement.
