New Addiction

I give in. I watched part of the first episode on “True Blood” online and I am hooked. Tara is my hero! Cracked me up. Best character ever! I liked the Southern Vampire book I read (wasn’t the first one) now I have to get them all just to see how close they are to the show, likely not that close since most aren’t. And Lafayette? I think I knew someone like him in the late 80’s at the clubs. I think I could have finally found a show I’d watch regularly. I got to say Jason is a moron! Tara is way hotter than those other girls. The episode I found loaded painfully slow as I watched it and the suckiest part is halfway through the episode the show ended…damn. Anyone know of a good place to find True Blood episodes?

Well, this is the end. The last episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender just finished tonight. Where as I am excited to have gotten to see the finale, there’s melancholy that there will be no more episodes in the future. (the link above has spoilers so don’t read if you haven’t seen the show)

For those of you who haven’t had a taste of the show, or like me can’t get enough, here’s some samples…

Flashback Friday with Xena

Xena
Odd as it may sound to some, Xena has had a big part to play in the later part of my life. Both my kids were “baked” on Xena (meaning I watched the show most of both pregnancies) and though the tougher time in my life the show brought me comfort and enjoyment.

In the past few years I haven’t watch my Xena tape, though lately I have considered requiring the episodes on DvD and watching them, simply once again for enjoyment. For the heck of it, I thought I might share with you some of my fav episodes from the 6 seasons the Xena: Warrior Princess was on the air, but then I found something even better.

Was Thinking

Okay, I’ve been very serious lately, and as I near the end of my Nano run (just crested 45,000 as of last night) I thought we might do a fun topic I got from another TTer last week. So my TT title for this week is...

*drum roll please*

Trinity

August 19, 1921 - October 24, 1991

Because of the craziness of Hallows, I missed honoring the passing of a very important man in the Sci-Fi genre who left this planet to explore the reaches of the cosmos few dare to travel.
Gene Roddenberry, this flashback is for you.
